Important!
Embed fonts to ensure all fonts print to pdf.
Word is used as the example in the instructions.
Note: To ensure easy filing, name
the original document according to the listed document event.

Open the original document
(WordPerfect, Word, Petition Software, WebPages, etc.)
- Note: Ensure that signatures
lines have been signed (/s/ name).
- If you have any questions regarding Petition
Software contact the software vendor.

Print to PDF
- Click on "File" on the application's
menu bar.
- Click on "Print" from the drop down
menu. The "Print Dialog Box" appears.
- Select "Acrobat PDF Writer" as current
printer selection and press the Print button. The "Save PDF File
As" screen appears.
- Name your PDF file.
- Choose the appropriate directory by clicking
in your Save in: window
- Click on the save button to print and save to
PDF.
- Print a paper copy
of the document for original signatures.
Note: For WebPages, such as the Notice
of Electronic Filing, print a paper copy if not printing to PDF.
- Keep original signed
document at your office.
Note:
The Notice of Electronic Filing is the electronic file stamp that confirms
the filing of your document. Keep in your office.
