Reducing the PDF file size will help loading the file to the ECF system. 

1. Open original PDF file that will be reduced in size. Note the number of pages that are in the original file.
   1. Select Document from the Adobe Acrobat menu.
   2. Select Pages. 
   3. Select Extract. 
   4. Type page number that will be extracted from the existing file. Note the number of pages for the extracted pages.
2. Save the extracted pages.
   1. Select File from the Adobe Acrobat menu.
   2. Select Save As.
   3. Select the appropriate directory in the Save In field. 
   4. Name the file in the File Name field and click Save. 

Continue to extract pages and name the file. The original file will remain the same unless you delete pages from it.
