Payment of Final Chapter 11 Installment

  1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
  2. Select Miscellaneous Documents.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
  5. Select Document Event: Payment of Final Chapter 11 Installment Payment (fee).
  6. Check box at Refer to existing event(s).
  7. Select appropriate Order approving Application to Pay Chapter 11 Filing Fees in Installment (docket text).
  8. Verify fee amount.
  9. Modify text to add pertinent information, such as Amended, if applicable.
  10. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
  11. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
  12. Continue with your Credit Card Payment.

Quick Note

 If your case was filed prior to March 1, 2015, you are allowed three installment payments within a 42-day deadline.

 If your case was filed on or after March 1, 2015, you are allowed two installment payments within a 30-day deadline.

Therefore, if your final payment is not received within the allotted deadline, the bankruptcy case is subject for dismissal.
