Payment of First Chapter 7 Installment (fee)

If the debtor's Application to Waive the Chapter 7 Filing Fee is denied, a Notice of Order Denying Wavier of Chapter 7 filing fee,  including the due dates for the first, second and last filing fee installments, will be sent to the debtor and entered on the case.   Use this document event to pay the first installment of the filing fee.

  1. Select Bankruptcy menu.
  2. Select Miscellaneous Documents.
  3. Ensure correct case name and number match the document you are filing.
  4. Select party filer.
  5. Select Document Event: Payment of 1st Installment (Chapter 7) (fee).
  6. Check box at Refer to existing event(s), if applicable. 
  7. Select Order Denying Application for Waiver.
  8. Verify fee amount.
  9. Modify text to add pertinent information, such as Amended, if applicable.
  10. Verify final docket text before submitting onto case docket.
  11. Print the Notice of Electronic Filing. It's your receipt.
  12. Continue with your Credit Card Payment.

If final payment is not received within the 42 day deadline, the bankruptcy case is subject for dismissal.
