Thomas H. Billingslea, Jr., Chapter 13 trustee, retires effective November 30, 2023 at the end of the day.  We thank Mr. Billingslea for his valued service over many years. His active caseload will be assumed by Michael Koch (pronounced Cook) who was appointed as Chapter 13 trustee for the Southern District of California on May 1, 2023.   Mr. Koch will be the sole Chapter 13 trustee for the district.  A notice specifying payment and contact information will be docketed in all cases reassigned to Mr. Koch.

Nima Ghazvini, who was appointed as alternate Chapter 13 trustee for the court in April, will continue to handle cases which are conflicts for Mr. Koch.  We appreciate Mr. Ghazvini’s willingness to serve.
